Saylor Cooper:

Beneteau. Rebecca, how you doing today?

Rebekah Beneteau:

Hi, Saylor. Thank you for that beautiful

Rebekah Beneteau:

introduction. I am so honoured to be here for your 50th

Rebekah Beneteau:

episode. Amazing that.

Saylor Cooper:

So we met on speakers Playhouse. Yes. So I

Saylor Cooper:

imagine you getting here has not been easy. It's not been a

Saylor Cooper:

straight path like many of us, right?

Rebekah Beneteau:

Yeah. Yes. I'm not sure there is a straight

Rebekah Beneteau:

path through life. But I was always a very outgoing kid. A

Rebekah Beneteau:

performer I guess my dad was very comical. My family told a

Rebekah Beneteau:

lot of jokes. So be I think being a speaker is kind of in my

Rebekah Beneteau:

blood, and sharing, you know, sharing what I know and helping

Rebekah Beneteau:

others.

Saylor Cooper:

That is, because that's what we want to do to

Saylor Cooper:

highlight sharing what we know and help others to see I'm

Saylor Cooper:

becoming well, I'm going to be delivering some inspirational

Saylor Cooper:

keynotes. I've also joined Toastmasters and we are doing

Saylor Cooper:

some live coaching events, which we'll get into later on. But

Saylor Cooper:

that So tell me, how did you live start? Because it hasn't

Saylor Cooper:

been pretty easy?

Rebekah Beneteau:

Well, my life started in New York City. And we

Rebekah Beneteau:

had a fairly typical middle class family. And I but my

Rebekah Beneteau:

father was a compulsive eater, and a rager. And so I spent a

Rebekah Beneteau:

lot of my life tiptoeing around making sure I didn't set him

Rebekah Beneteau:

off. And I also, I don't know if anyone listening can relate to

Rebekah Beneteau:

this, I somehow got the basic feeling that I was wrong. Like,

Rebekah Beneteau:

I should have been born a boy, that was the first thing. And in

Rebekah Beneteau:

my family, you would come home with a bee and my dad would or

Rebekah Beneteau:

my mom would say, why isn't it a B plus, you know, and then I'd

Rebekah Beneteau:

come home with the B plus, and it would be why isn't today. So

Rebekah Beneteau:

I really, as a kid was always striving to do it right and be

Rebekah Beneteau:

the best and I danced. I went to ballet school, and I played

Rebekah Beneteau:

girls baseball league softball league. I was more of a human

Rebekah Beneteau:

doing than a human being Saylor, because I felt I had something

Rebekah Beneteau:

to prove just to deserve to be alive.

Saylor Cooper:

So you had to constantly prove yourself

Saylor Cooper:

basically.

Rebekah Beneteau:

Mm hmm. Yeah, that was that was the message I

Rebekah Beneteau:

took. And I think if there's anything I really want to convey

Rebekah Beneteau:

to listeners, is that things happen. Things always happen

Rebekah Beneteau:

with varying degrees of difficulty and failure.

Rebekah Beneteau:

As a perfect example, right? It's what you do with those

Rebekah Beneteau:

things that matters. It's what we part of how we develop is in

Rebekah Beneteau:

is because of what that thing, but we can always choose

Rebekah Beneteau:

something different. Right? Right. So I had a very judged I

Rebekah Beneteau:

became a very self judgmental person, I inherited that. And I

Rebekah Beneteau:

thought the only way I would get better is if I was constantly

Rebekah Beneteau:

judging myself. And in these last few years, that became

Rebekah Beneteau:

really important, I realised that I was not going to get

Rebekah Beneteau:

anywhere by finding myself wrong. Instead, I turned it

Rebekah Beneteau:

around. What was I doing, right? Where could I celebrate what I

Rebekah Beneteau:

was getting? Right? Where can I celebrate my life? Instead of

Rebekah Beneteau:

always looking for what I was doing wrong and fixing it?

Saylor Cooper:

Exactly. And because you should never compare

Saylor Cooper:

yourself to other people. That's the worst thing you could do

Saylor Cooper:

always know that as long as you're doing your best. That's

Saylor Cooper:

what counts.

Rebekah Beneteau:

Yeah, yeah, absolutely. So the thing that I

Rebekah Beneteau:

really, that I mentioned to you when I offered to be on the

Rebekah Beneteau:

podcast was, when I was eight years old, an adult man did some

Rebekah Beneteau:

sexual things with me. And not good. However, you know, and

Rebekah Beneteau:

that should never happen to any child. And be. And because of

Rebekah Beneteau:

that, I developed some some ideas about that it wasn't safe

Rebekah Beneteau:

for other people to see me. It wasn't safe for me to be vibrant

Rebekah Beneteau:

and happy. Right? He took me when I was out in the playground

Rebekah Beneteau:

I was playing. And so I got this idea that I had to be small, I

Rebekah Beneteau:

had to be invisible, and that my role was to help other people be

Rebekah Beneteau:

successful, fulfilled sexually, but not me. And because what

Rebekah Beneteau:

happens when you are introduced to sexuality at a young age, you

Rebekah Beneteau:

don't have the skills to integrate that experience.

Rebekah Beneteau:

There's a lot of energy. There's a lot of excitement, exuberance,

Rebekah Beneteau:

running through your body. Children can be turned on, but

Rebekah Beneteau:

they immediately think there's something wrong with them for

Rebekah Beneteau:

feeling that way. Because they have no context for it.

Saylor Cooper:

Because they know that that's not normal.

Saylor Cooper:

Basically.

Rebekah Beneteau:

They Well, I think they get the feeling that

Rebekah Beneteau:

it's not normal, it's not okay. That some that if anyone knew

Rebekah Beneteau:

about it, they would get in trouble. In fact, the person who

Rebekah Beneteau:

does it often says this has to be our secret. Because if anyone

Rebekah Beneteau:

knows you'll be in trouble.

Saylor Cooper:

It's a way to manipulate because I've heard

Saylor Cooper:

when children have been exploited, like, with like,

Saylor Cooper:

sexual crimes. They think they owe that they think the older

Saylor Cooper:

than they are when they're really not.

Rebekah Beneteau:

Yes, yeah, that's true to very early on, I

Rebekah Beneteau:

became like, everything I did, I did it by myself, I had to take

Rebekah Beneteau:

care of myself. I had to emotionally take care of my

Rebekah Beneteau:

family. But I really don't want to leave the story stuck there.

Rebekah Beneteau:

Because there's also a part of me that is very strongly a

Rebekah Beneteau:

healer. I am an energy healer, I discovered that capacity to be

Rebekah Beneteau:

able to see other people's auras to be able to see what people do

Rebekah Beneteau:

with their energy when they're stressed. I can look at a person

Rebekah Beneteau:

and see disease inside their body. So I'm I'm I'm what they

Rebekah Beneteau:

call a medical intuitive. And I think I knew even then, that I

Rebekah Beneteau:

could provide healing for this man, this person. He saw that in

Rebekah Beneteau:

me, I and I rose to the challenge. So on some level and

Rebekah Beneteau:

this is not to blame the victim story, but for anybody who's

Rebekah Beneteau:

been abused, you aren't abused because you're weak. You're

Rebekah Beneteau:

actually been abused because you are the strongest person in the

Rebekah Beneteau:

room.

Saylor Cooper:

Wow, that's a compelling message right there.

Saylor Cooper:

So you're providing healing to the man who did you wrong even

Saylor Cooper:

though he did you wrong now? Why would you want to do that? If

Saylor Cooper:

you really hate him for what he did to you?

Rebekah Beneteau:

I don't hate him for what he did for me, too.

Saylor Cooper:

We often we often do hate people who've done this

Saylor Cooper:

wrong. I know it's a normal emotion. I've been there not to

Saylor Cooper:

do that. You know,

Rebekah Beneteau:

it's certainly the first place that we go right

Rebekah Beneteau:

this anger this resentment, you did me wrong, but what if what

Rebekah Beneteau:

if you could look at it and ask yourself the question, what is

Rebekah Beneteau:

the gift here that I'm not seeing? The gift Ssylor was the

Rebekah Beneteau:

because that happened to me and I overcome it. I can now help

Rebekah Beneteau:

hundreds of other people overcome it. And those people

Rebekah Beneteau:

help help other people. So, if that had never happened to me, I

Rebekah Beneteau:

don't know what my life today would be like, totally

Rebekah Beneteau:

different. And I don't necessarily know for a fact that

Rebekah Beneteau:

it would be better than what my life is. So I choose to believe

Rebekah Beneteau:

that everything that has happened to me up to now was a

Rebekah Beneteau:

gift. Sometimes a gift and shitty wrapping paper that once

Rebekah Beneteau:

you unwrap it has brought me to the power and the the amazing

Rebekah Beneteau:

life I have now.

Saylor Cooper:

Yes, it's a blessing in disguise, because

Saylor Cooper:

you get to do so much with it. Because Tyler take example for

Saylor Cooper:

our gifts. If Well, shed some light we were born early weren't

Saylor Cooper:

expected to survive. We had gifts, right?

Tyler Evans:

Oh, yeah. But for before, I mentioned that, you

Tyler Evans:

know, your story kind of reminds me of the gospel of Jesus Christ

Tyler Evans:

to a point because think about it. He was done wrong. He, you

Tyler Evans:

know, under sweat, I believe, you know, he died on the cross.

Tyler Evans:

And he didn't have to. He was he was blamed for everyone's sins,

Tyler Evans:

and yet he was innocent. And yet, what you're doing is very

Tyler Evans:

similar, even though you're not mentioning Biblical stuff.

Tyler Evans:

You're not mentioning any of that. But in a sense, it's

Tyler Evans:

similar.

Rebekah Beneteau:

Yeah. And what were his words on the cross?

Rebekah Beneteau:

Forgive them father, they know not what they do.

Tyler Evans:

Exactly. And, and you know, and going back to what

Tyler Evans:

Saylor was just mentioning about us being born three months

Tyler Evans:

premature, you know, it is a blessing because God allowed us

Tyler Evans:

to survive, despite the odds. And my brother, you know, he and

Tyler Evans:

I are twins too. And his eyes reversed just like his twin

Tyler Evans:

sisters, as reversed. And our story is very similar. In fact,

Tyler Evans:

we saw the same doctor in Detroit, Michigan. me and saylor

Tyler Evans:

did, Two years apart. Two years apart. Yeah. Huh. And it's

Tyler Evans:

really amazing. Wow, your story, you know, it's, it shows it

Tyler Evans:

demonstrates to me that everyone in this world has something that

Tyler Evans:

was bad that happened us because we live in what's called a

Tyler Evans:

sinful world, a fallen world. That's what I believe. And, you

Tyler Evans:

know, there's nothing? Well,at first, it seems like things, you

Tyler Evans:

know, are bad. But in disguise, it's actually a good thing. To a

Tyler Evans:

point, because think about, you know, 2020 20 with COVID. It was

Tyler Evans:

bad, right? But it also exposed a lot of corruption, and stuff

Tyler Evans:

that took place, and we're getting past that we're getting

Tyler Evans:

better. And now we know how to handle all that stuff. You

Tyler Evans:

should do. I mean, it may seem bad, but in a way it it's a good

Tyler Evans:

thing.

Saylor Cooper:

And with that, how about we take a break from

Saylor Cooper:

the podcast itself? Tyler, you ready? Let's do some

Saylor Cooper:

advertising.

Tyler Evans:

All right. So

Saylor Cooper:

me and Tyler, were putting this community

Saylor Cooper:

together. I put it in the chat we're trying to host was putting

Saylor Cooper:

together and I think you'd be a great asset to this community,

Saylor Cooper:

Rebeka, will put together what's called the blissful life

Saylor Cooper:

community, when we're gonna facilitate the intolerable

Saylor Cooper:

facilitate and teach people on how to live a blissful life,

Saylor Cooper:

even in challenging times.

Tyler Evans:

Absolutely. And also with that, we also are

Tyler Evans:

going to host a lifter spirit party. Is that right?

Saylor Cooper:

Yeah.

Tyler Evans:

Yeah. Initially, we were going to do something, it

Tyler Evans:

was called the mastermind in the past, but things changed. We

Tyler Evans:

kind of it kind of fell through a little bit. But that's okay.

Tyler Evans:

We revamped it. We're fixing it up. And now it's going to be the

Tyler Evans:

blissful life community instead of the mastermind. Yes. And, and

Tyler Evans:

what's cool is, our motto is hope without sight to a blissful

Tyler Evans:

life. And so what that basically means is, you know, hope without

Tyler Evans:

sight, you know, we're, what about blind, but it's more than

Tyler Evans:

that. It's way more than that. It's a metaphor of, hey,

Tyler Evans:

sometimes in life, it seems like there's no hope. But despite

Tyler Evans:

that, there's always a light at the end of the tunnel. And

Tyler Evans:

that's the sight part. In other words, it's metaphorical. It's

Tyler Evans:

not just, oh, I'm blind. There's no hope for me because I'm

Tyler Evans:

blind. No, that's not what it's about. Ultimately, it's about

Tyler Evans:

the fact that it's a metaphor. And that there's always hope, no

Tyler Evans:

matter what you're going through in life, because ultimately, you

Tyler Evans:

know, You know, I always like to go back to Scripture. And it

Tyler Evans:

says hope does not disappoint. In other words, true hope,

Tyler Evans:

because hope is found in Christ Jesus. That's what I believe.

Tyler Evans:

But yeah, not everyone believes that that's okay. But yeah.

Tyler Evans:

Yeah, basically, a blissful life means, hey, no matter where

Tyler Evans:

you've come from, no matter where you've been, no matter

Tyler Evans:

what you were born into, you can always reach your limits, which

Tyler Evans:

I believe is limitless. Especially because we live, in

Tyler Evans:

my opinion, in the greatest nation on the face of the earth,

Tyler Evans:

despite its flaws, despite the fact that we are imperfect. In

Tyler Evans:

fact, in our constitution says, We the People of the United

Tyler Evans:

States in order to form a more perfect union, well, what is

Tyler Evans:

that more perfect union? Its liberty, its freedom. And its

Tyler Evans:

republicanism, meaning small are, you know, republicanism?

Tyler Evans:

Yeah, do that, hey, we can all be represented, and that we

Tyler Evans:

control our system of government, not the other way

Tyler Evans:

around. So yeah,

Saylor Cooper:

exactly, exactly. You just have to, you have to

Saylor Cooper:

live the best life you can. And the programmes I'm putting in my

Saylor Cooper:

chat, or the lead magnet, if you text that number of bliss,

Saylor Cooper:

282-481-6806. There's a mini course where you could learn to

Saylor Cooper:

start living a blissful life. And please share it with others.

Saylor Cooper:

Absolutely.

Rebekah Beneteau:

Beautiful. Yeah, I absolutely. Bliss is one

Rebekah Beneteau:

of my favourite words, and I believe that bliss is always

Rebekah Beneteau:

accessible. Yeah, you know, Tyler, you really before brought

Rebekah Beneteau:

up a couple of things that I think are the tools, you know,

Rebekah Beneteau:

number one is compassion. You know, I have compassion for the

Rebekah Beneteau:

people that I quote, unquote, feel wronged me, I have

Rebekah Beneteau:

compassion for myself. And then next, you have you go beyond

Rebekah Beneteau:

compassion, to gratitude. I'm grateful. Then, you can see, we

Rebekah Beneteau:

often cloud our eyes by looking, you know, you'd like you said,

Rebekah Beneteau:

metaphorically, we can be blind to our, our gifts to the joy

Rebekah Beneteau:

that's available now. Because we're only I'm always looking

Rebekah Beneteau:

back at our past. Right? With regret. So being present, also,

Rebekah Beneteau:

like not in your past, and not in your future, but just here

Rebekah Beneteau:

right now allows you to access that bliss. Yes.

Tyler Evans:

Oh, yeah. And you know, it's interesting. You

Tyler Evans:

know, it would be cool to actually come up with an acronym

Tyler Evans:

for bliss. I don't know what it would be. But something tells me

Tyler Evans:

that there should be an acronym be li SS. But some, but it's

Tyler Evans:

just amazing how, like, we just simply not worry about the past

Tyler Evans:

what God was. And that we can move on and say, hey, you know,

Tyler Evans:

that was them. This is now so we need to learn to forgive. Not

Tyler Evans:

necessarily forget. People say Oh, forgiven forget. No, that's

Tyler Evans:

not it. Forgive. But that doesn't mean, you have to like

Tyler Evans:

them. It doesn't even when you have to be friends with them.

Saylor Cooper:

Yeah. The issue I'm having is that trust I don't

Saylor Cooper:

trust, right. People, you know, well, one person well, we're not

Saylor Cooper:

gonna really get into but yeah, there's one person that we know

Saylor Cooper:

that you and I know, that we're having issues with. And that's

Saylor Cooper:

something for another day, right?

Saylor Cooper:

We can relate to this, you know? Yeah.

Rebekah Beneteau:

Yeah.

Saylor Cooper:

So, put my information in the chat about

Saylor Cooper:

our programmes. There's the lifter spirit party, which is

Saylor Cooper:

complimentary, its fleet. Everybody can hardly lift our

Saylor Cooper:

spirits together. And the blissful life community, which

Saylor Cooper:

is a membership, it's $25 a month. If you want to join, and

Saylor Cooper:

it's a more in depth. It's like a mastermind, where we're going

Saylor Cooper:

to teach each other including you Abeka. You can teach other

Saylor Cooper:

members on how to live life more blissfully, right.

Rebekah Beneteau:

Yeah, absolutely.

Tyler Evans:

And what's cool, tell us more Saylor, can you pay

Tyler Evans:

a flat fee? And let's say you wanted to pay the full year

Tyler Evans:

price of 300?

Saylor Cooper:

Absolutely. Yes, you can pay before you have a

Saylor Cooper:

blissful life community too. So we were hoping to launch it this

Saylor Cooper:

month. But that's why I'm glad that you are on my podcast so

Saylor Cooper:

you could spread this around and we can grow our community and we

Saylor Cooper:

can get more followers so we can join this people can join this

Saylor Cooper:

community.

Tyler Evans:

So what exactly tell the audience what exactly

Tyler Evans:

will this community entail? Is it like a class a seminar?

Saylor Cooper:

Yeah to seminar to community, we'll just common

Saylor Cooper:

do some masterminding.

Tyler Evans:

Do you think maybe the first one there could be an

Tyler Evans:

icebreaker meaning like, hey, introduce yourself?

Saylor Cooper:

Yes, that could be a good very good icebreaker.

Saylor Cooper:

Yes. And same with the lift your spirit party, was that right?

Saylor Cooper:

Like the lift your spirit party is like a class too. But it's

Saylor Cooper:

like an introduction to what's to come. And so for those, for

Saylor Cooper:

those who are interested in want to partake in the mastermind, or

Saylor Cooper:

shall we say the blissful life community rather, like a

Saylor Cooper:

mastermind, but community, they can pay and it's a membership.

Saylor Cooper:

And so basically, there's no commitment, right? You can pay

Saylor Cooper:

it anytime. Let's say you decide, hey, you pay for a

Saylor Cooper:

month, you just check it out how you figure Hey, listen, for me.

Saylor Cooper:

That's okay. No, no, no commitment, no contract, no

Saylor Cooper:

questions asked, and you're good.

Saylor Cooper:

And those who can afford to go was working on some sponsorship

Saylor Cooper:

sponsorships, where y'all can gig on free of charge for those

Saylor Cooper:

who truly can't afford it. So it's still evolving. But please

Saylor Cooper:

spread the word and help us grow it.

Tyler Evans:

Absolutely, we would really appreciate it. And,

Tyler Evans:

Rebecca, if you know any friends who are interested, you can

Tyler Evans:

spread the word as well.

Rebekah Beneteau:

All righty.

Saylor Cooper:

Well, your future so your future goals, you don't

Saylor Cooper:

have a podcast anymore. So you're a speaker, like what made

Saylor Cooper:

you attend speakers Playhouse?

Rebekah Beneteau:

Well, actually, I am a coach now. And

Rebekah Beneteau:

I work with people one on one and also with couples. And I do

Rebekah Beneteau:

something called the Five Days to Better orgasms challenge for

Rebekah Beneteau:

women.

Saylor Cooper:

Oh, wow.

Rebekah Beneteau:

And that is coming up September 11. To the

Rebekah Beneteau:

15th. It's online, it's completely free. So anybody can

Rebekah Beneteau:

join. And I don't know if you want me to put a link to that in

Rebekah Beneteau:

the chat or, yes, put your information in the chat just

Rebekah Beneteau:

like I did. And I do a challenge every month with a slightly

Rebekah Beneteau:

different theme. So that's the theme for this month for

Rebekah Beneteau:

September. And I would be delighted if anyone from here

Rebekah Beneteau:

wanted to attend. And I came to the Speaker's Playhouse really

Rebekah Beneteau:

looking for possibilities. Because as you can see, I love

Rebekah Beneteau:

to talk about this stuff. It's my favourite thing. I did attend

Rebekah Beneteau:

Toastmasters for many years. It's amazing programme. And I

Rebekah Beneteau:

Yeah, you know, this is the way to reach more people. As you can

Rebekah Beneteau:

see, I no longer believe that I should be invisible in order to

Rebekah Beneteau:

stay safe. Wow, I'm willing to be seen and to talk about a

Rebekah Beneteau:

topic that is challenging for a lot of people. It's very

Rebekah Beneteau:

sensitive. But I do believe that God gave us a body for a reason.

Rebekah Beneteau:

You know, the joy and having our body is actually a sacred thing.

Rebekah Beneteau:

Yes.

Rebekah Beneteau:

So it's, you know, finding ways to express that to have someone

Rebekah Beneteau:

to share it with. To overcome some of the shame that has been

Rebekah Beneteau:

instilled in us, by our religion, by our culture, about

Rebekah Beneteau:

music about being a body, all of those things, having a body

Rebekah Beneteau:

using your body. You gotta use it appropriately, of course.

Rebekah Beneteau:

Yes, of course.

Saylor Cooper:

And so yeah, please share all the information

Saylor Cooper:

you got. So we could include this in the show notes. And as

Saylor Cooper:

mentioned, I sent you my information, but please save the

Saylor Cooper:

chat too.

Rebekah Beneteau:

I will do that for sure.

Saylor Cooper:

Yeah. So what are your future goals? You're gonna

Saylor Cooper:

do speaking when you have a future goals you have?

Rebekah Beneteau:

My future goal is to create a world where

Rebekah Beneteau:

pleasure and kindness are the standard. Amen. Yes, in fact, I

Rebekah Beneteau:

often call myself a bliss mistress. So I'll tell you very

Rebekah Beneteau:

quickly, I went to a four year school for energy healers called

Rebekah Beneteau:

the prepper, Brendon school for healing. And when I graduated

Rebekah Beneteau:

part of the ceremony was that you had to go on stage and

Rebekah Beneteau:

announce your intention. And I thought my intention was going

Rebekah Beneteau:

to be to be come back and become a teacher of their material. And

Rebekah Beneteau:

instead what popped out of my mouth. Was that my intent

Rebekah Beneteau:

mission in the world is to embody bliss and help others do

Rebekah Beneteau:

the same.

Saylor Cooper:

Amen. I like using the word blissed to,

Rebekah Beneteau:

which is why I wanted to be on your podcast. I

Rebekah Beneteau:

saw a kindred spirit.

Saylor Cooper:

Yes.

Tyler Evans:

That sounds like good spirits as well.

Saylor Cooper:

And I'm gonna be giving ammo, Elena, I'm sure you

Saylor Cooper:

heard a flight King, the mental health comedian. I'm meeting

Saylor Cooper:

with him today. One. We're working on my speaking career

Saylor Cooper:

until it gets to where it needs to be until we die trying and I

Saylor Cooper:

hope to give around $5,000 billable keynote. Nice. Yeah,

Saylor Cooper:

very nice.

Rebekah Beneteau:

. I mean, you asked my intention is to travel

Rebekah Beneteau:

the world teaching workshops. And what else publish a book.

Saylor Cooper:

I publish a book too. Yeah. My books in the chat.

Saylor Cooper:

Mm hmm.

Tyler Evans:

So yeah, maybe call it maybe that college you went

Tyler Evans:

to could be a sponsor? We shall see. Yes. We shall see if it's

Tyler Evans:

still there. I mean, I don't know. Yeah, how you should be

Tyler Evans:

thinking. We shall see. We shall see. Yeah, but yeah, I'm glad

Tyler Evans:

you have big goals. So anyway, and it's it's wonderful that,

Tyler Evans:

yep. Anything else you want to share on the podcast? Because

Tyler Evans:

believe it or not, we had back to back episodes detailed

Tyler Evans:

record, we have another one coming up at noon. And I know

Tyler Evans:

your time is limited to so do you have anything else you want

Tyler Evans:

to share?

Rebekah Beneteau:

share? It's never too late to have a happy

Rebekah Beneteau:

childhood.

Tyler Evans:

Amen. Oh,

Rebekah Beneteau:

or even a happy? It's all in your it's all

Rebekah Beneteau:

in your perspective? And what can you choose today to create

Rebekah Beneteau:

the future that you would like to have? Not in spite of, but

Rebekah Beneteau:

thanks to the past that you've already had?

Tyler Evans:

And, you know, even if you had a bad childhood, you

Tyler Evans:

can still have a wonderful adulthood. Yes, you can. Because

Tyler Evans:

a childhood should not define me. You know, we should be like,

Tyler Evans:

You know what? That was the past. I learned from it. Now I'm

Tyler Evans:

stronger because of it. Yeah. And that's what bad

Tyler Evans:

circumstances can do for people. It makes them stronger and so

Tyler Evans:

amazing. So yeah,

Rebekah Beneteau:

I'm gonna say something really radical. And

Rebekah Beneteau:

some ways I think the two of you have an advantage over sighted

Rebekah Beneteau:

people when it comes to romance.

Saylor Cooper:

We lack of voices, people with voices were

Rebekah Beneteau:

too many people too many people take what

Rebekah Beneteau:

they see with their eyes as what they want. And they have a

Rebekah Beneteau:

picture of who they can be with and they never get to the

Rebekah Beneteau:

essence of who a person is. They never get to whether that person

Rebekah Beneteau:

will actually be a contribution be nurturing, be loving, they're

Rebekah Beneteau:

all about Oh, that one's pretty to me that one's handsome. And

Rebekah Beneteau:

and you can you got to look at other things that are actually

Rebekah Beneteau:

more lasting.

Saylor Cooper:

As we look at the souls and the kind hearts and of

Saylor Cooper:

course women's voices. You know what? I said, my, my sex life. I

Saylor Cooper:

went, I was born here in Texas, Austin when sweet talking voice

Saylor Cooper:

Texas school myself too. And I know find who you know.

Tyler Evans:

And, you know, it's interesting as we've not only

Tyler Evans:

rely on voices to determine if a woman's attractive, maybe

Tyler Evans:

there's smell or touch, right? So like, let's say you want to

Tyler Evans:

find someone and, and she's okay with it. You go and you rub your

Tyler Evans:

finger into her hair and things like that, you know? Yeah. And

Tyler Evans:

you're like, this is interesting.

Rebekah Beneteau:

And I don't know if you guys are read

Rebekah Beneteau:

Braille, but I would imagine Oh, absolutely. I do. reading

Rebekah Beneteau:

braille gives you very sensitive fingertips, which can be very

Rebekah Beneteau:

useful in a sensual environment.

Tyler Evans:

Like massage. massages, good.

Rebekah Beneteau:

Yeah, yeah, exactly. But once again, it's

Rebekah Beneteau:

always that viewpoint. Is this the cursor? Is this a gift? What

Rebekah Beneteau:

can I do with this that will benefit me and everyone around

Rebekah Beneteau:

me so Exactly, exactly. Exactly.

Saylor Cooper:

know what, we won't go into too much but

Saylor Cooper:

Tyler, you and I get excited, right?

Tyler Evans:

Next Yeah, but you know, and you know what's

Tyler Evans:

interesting? I was gonna say you don't have to see to see. You

Tyler Evans:

get my drift. Oh, Because think about it, you know, you know,

Tyler Evans:

sighted people they take for granted their sight. They can

Tyler Evans:

drive. We can't. But hopefully one day that's changing where it

Tyler Evans:

won't matter if you're blind or not, you're driving, they don't

Tyler Evans:

matter. You wouldn't matter if you have epilepsy, it won't

Tyler Evans:

matter if you have this or this or this. You can drive. Yeah.

Tyler Evans:

But well, but some people have reservations about it, because

Tyler Evans:

what if it goes wrong? What if this? What if this what if this,

Tyler Evans:

because it could it could go wrong? You never know. But we

Tyler Evans:

shall see. But like I said, you don't have to see to see you

Tyler Evans:

don't have to see to read or write down. Because you have all

Tyler Evans:

the assistive technology, which I'm telling you right now. I

Tyler Evans:

never thought in my wildest dreams, I would have a small

Tyler Evans:

little device in the palm of my hand, a phone that literally did

Tyler Evans:

everything a computer does. Never thought, just 20 years

Tyler Evans:

ago, I never thought I would ever see to live I would ever

Tyler Evans:

live to see that particular day. I knew thanks for getting

Tyler Evans:

digital. But I did not know it'd be this good this fast. Yes,

Tyler Evans:

amazing. Really is.

Rebekah Beneteau:

We live in a really amazing world.

Tyler Evans:

Yes, we do with I mean, heck, in the 60s, we land

Tyler Evans:

on the moon and even JFK was like, Hey, we choose to land on

Tyler Evans:

the moon, not because it's easy, but because it's hard. We don't

Tyler Evans:

want to do things easy. We want it to be hard and challenging.

Tyler Evans:

But also inspirational. You know? Exactly. Yeah. It's so it

Tyler Evans:

makes me tear up a little bit. If you have nothing else.

Saylor Cooper:

Rebecca, would you say it's time for a

Saylor Cooper:

customary ending? Tyler? Yes, indeed.

Tyler Evans:

So what do you say to people? who feel they have no

Tyler Evans:

hope and don't know where to turn?

Rebekah Beneteau:

Hmm, what would I say to people? Can you

Rebekah Beneteau:

find one thing? To appreciate? Yes. And then after that, find

Rebekah Beneteau:

one more thing to appreciate. And put your focus on what's

Rebekah Beneteau:

light? Yes. Not what's not what's heavy, and you will get

Rebekah Beneteau:

more lightness? Because it? Yeah, I'll cut it off there. I

Rebekah Beneteau:

could say more. I could talk about that and other 10 minutes.

Rebekah Beneteau:

But all let's leave them with that.

Tyler Evans:

Oh, yeah. Well, the way I see it is think of all in

Tyler Evans:

the past in our history, and just our history of US history,

Tyler Evans:

all the challenges we have overcome as a country from

Tyler Evans:

slavery, to segregation to all of it, and how we have come so

Tyler Evans:

far. And people have bled and died so that we can live in

Tyler Evans:

freedom. And they didn't think that there was any hope back in

Tyler Evans:

that day. In fact, we didn't know if we would even survive

Tyler Evans:

back in the 1860s during the American Civil War, but we did

Tyler Evans:

because of men courageous men and yes women too. who are

Tyler Evans:

willing to die or who said you know what, slavery is evil. It's

Tyler Evans:

wicked and it must be ended and it did not because of government

Tyler Evans:

but because of people it showed dead Yeah, there you go. Now I'm

Tyler Evans:

starting to sound like Reagan but anyway

Saylor Cooper:

Wow. Everybody please give it up for with

Saylor Cooper:

Rebekah Beneteau on episode 50 help with help without site that

Saylor Cooper:

backup always continue to promote bliss just like we are.

Saylor Cooper:

Yeah, thanks so much for being on the show.

Rebekah Beneteau:

Thank you. Thank you both. It's really fun

Rebekah Beneteau:

and inspirational.

Saylor Cooper:

Everybody stateless said everybody said

Saylor Cooper:

last and live life with list raining down so clean.

Rebekah Beneteau:

I'll tell you what I always say do what gets

Rebekah Beneteau:

your panties wet.

Tyler Evans:

Yeah.

Rebekah Beneteau:

I am not wearing any panties. Just do

Rebekah Beneteau:

what excites you. The

Tyler Evans:

shower whatever it is, which I took one today and

Tyler Evans:

it felt good.

Saylor Cooper:

Stay blessed everybody. All right.

Tyler Evans:

Bye bye. Bye bye.
